space & place

I was just thinking about how cool/wierd it was for me to be in Paris and in a room that my sister transformed in a city I lived in years ago. The thought of Simone having done an installation design project in Paris is like a magical art experiment to me. I like that feeling. Its also like two people running towards each other from far away and then for one moment while passing, they get to hi-five.

The West

Just returned from Idaho/Montana/Wyoming. Disneyland for adults.

Who Falls for Idaho?

me. Adrian and I are going to the cabin on Friday for a few days. Can't wait to explore Yellowstone National Park and roam where the Buffalo chill. Such a beautiful part of America. I want to take a long road trip one day through Wyoming, Idaho, Montana and the like. Can't we all build teepees and live on the land for a while? I wish.

"...Unlike today’s houses that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, a teepee might only cost less than one hundred dollars to make and it served the same purposes of shelter, warmth, protection and a kitchen of sorts with the fire serving as the main form of food preparation... The Indian teepee gets its name from the Lakota Indian language and translates to house or dwelling."
